Determining a Range of Light Frequencies in Photocatalytic Activity with Silver Nanoparticles
The electronic setup based on Arduino has been designed to determine the range of light frequency where photocatalytic activity occurs most effectively in the presence of nanosized silver during the electromagnetic radiation exhibition. As a compound used to find such activity, the methylene blue dye has been chosen, which is commonly used as a redox indicator. The range of light frequency occurred near the local plasmon frequency of silver nanoparticles.
