Synergistic design of a molten salt-exfoliated CuS/C 3 N 4 heterojunction: elucidating photogenerated charge transfer behavior and mechanism for enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen evolution

Owing to matched energy band structures, CuS/C 3 N 4 (Li–K) heterojunction enables photogenerated electron transfer from C 3 N 4 (Li–K) to CuS and hole migration in the reverse direction, achieving efficient directional separation of photogenerated charges.

Abstract

Owing to matched energy band structures, CuS/C 3 N 4 (Li–K) heterojunction enables photogenerated electron transfer from C 3 N 4 (Li–K) to CuS and hole migration in the reverse direction, achieving efficient directional separation of photogenerated charges.
