Electron-stimulated clusterization
The model describing clusterization stimulation by electron impact is proposed and analyzed. The corresponding quasi-chemical nucleation model is built, and the corresponding clusters' growth/decay coefficients are determined. Equilibrium constants are determined using the data on the clusters' binding energy. The stimulation effect is analyzed using both the quasi-chemical nucleation model itself and the introduced concept of effective supersaturation. It is shown that the higher the supersaturation calculated for the unexcited monomers, the more pronounced the stimulation effect. Estimations of all the specified parameters are carried out for the pure argon flow.
