Analysis of the correlation between abdominal pain and long Meckel’s diverticulitis on the mesenteric side: a case study in the context of mesenteric volvulus and internal hernias: a case report
This case highlights the rarity of mesenteric volvulus resulting from Meckel's diverticulum and emphasizes the importance of considering this condition in patients presenting with bowel obstruction symptoms. It underscores the need for timely diagnosis and intervention to prevent severe complications. In addition, the study calls for further research to explore the complex mechanisms associated with Meckel's diverticulum and its complications, aiming to optimize treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes.
