Political challenges in vaccines and vaccinations policy
Abstract Greer will present the initial framing, dividing the issues into vaccines and vaccinations. Vaccines are a problem of political economy, encompassing scientific research, regulation, intellectual property, and global supply chains and in Europe have become far more of an EU responsibility since 2019. Vaccination refers to actual vaccinations, which is a responsibility of health and public health systems involving education, administration, and equity challenges.
