Coordinated Low-carbon Economic Optimisation in a Power-Heat-Gas Integrated Energy System
Due to the rising environmental concerns in the energy sector, integrated energy systems (IESs) have received widespread attention as an effective low-carbon solution. An IES usually consists of various energy sources and loads, and its operation calls for an optimal dispatch that can coordinate multiple controllable devices to meet both economic and environmental requirements. This paper proposes a coordinated optimisation model for a power-heat-gas IES, addressing economic and decarbonisation objectives. Firstly, various kinds of equipment in IES are mathematically modelled. Then, an optimisation model is formulated to minimise both operation cost and carbon emission objectives. Finally, the proposed model is tested via numerical simulation, and its advantage is demonstrated by the comparative simulation results.
