Adaptive start-up mechanism for response-driven voltage stability emergency control
Traditional contingency control has shortcomings such as strategy mismatch and conservative measures, making it difficult to ensure the safe and stable operation of the system in the event of AC line faults or DC system commutation failures. Therefore, online decision-making models based on response information have been developed. To achieve coordination with traditional contingency control, this paper proposes the adaptive start-up condition for response-driven voltage stability emergency control. Firstly, the mechanism of contingency control mismatch is analysed, and typical scenarios of contingency control mismatch are selected by simulating the extreme operation mode of the system. Secondly, the effectiveness and timeliness of the transient voltage stability criterion for the relationship between maximum Lyapunov and power current are analysed under instability, contingency adaptation, and contingency mismatch scenarios. Finally, considering the action time of traditional contingency control and response driven control, an adaptive start mechanism for response driven control is designed.
