Advancing sustainable supply chain management − integrating blockchain technology for carbon emission reduction
This research investigates into the optimization of supply chain operations by leveraging advanced blockchain solutions, with a specific focus on the Indian carbon emission landscape for performance enhancement. In the context of a rapidly evolving global economy and increasing environmental concerns, the study explores how blockchain technology can be strategically employed to streamline supply chain processes while addressing the unique challenges posed by carbon emissions in the Indian context. By adopting a tailored perspective that considers the intricacies of the Indian carbon emission scenario, the research aims to identify practical and effective strategies for enhancing overall supply chain performance. Through a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical insights, this study contributes to the development of sustainable and region-specific supply chain practices, providing valuable guidance for businesses navigating the intersection of advanced blockchain solutions, carbon emissions, and operational optimization in the Indian market. The R-squared value, a measure of the goodness-of-fit for the regression model, is found to be approximately 0.9841. This high R-squared value indicates that the model, which predicted carbon emissions, effectively captures the variability in the observed data.
