A total of 50 validated questionnaires were distributed, and statistical tests were conducted on the collected data. The findings revealed that Libyan banks currently employ AI technologies in a limited capacity, particularly in areas related to expert systems, neural networks, machine learning, robotics, and natural language processing. The study also identified several challenges hindering the effective use of AI in financial auditing across Libya. In conclusion, the study recommends enhancing the adoption of AI mechanisms in Libyan banks, emphasizing their potential to add significant value to the financial auditing process.
