Corporate sustainability management under uncertainty: Part II-use of fuzzy technologies
This paper constitutes Part II of a two-part article, which addresses the topic of corporate sustainability management under uncertainty, with emphasis on sustainability and uncertainty expressed in type-1, type-2, and other types of fuzzy sets. Part I presented in another paper proposes a generic corporate sustainability management system (CSMS), which is intended to serve as the framework for guiding continuous improvement of corporate sustainability through the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle or the green lean six sigma (GLSS) process of a sustainability related activity/project. For Part II presented here, the goal is in identifying gaps where more research is needed to advance the methodologies and applications of fuzzy technologies in managing corporate sustainability related activities under uncertainty. Identifying the research gaps can guide interested researchers towards developing more and better fuzzy technologies, subsequently to enhance the capability of the proposed CSMS in dealing with uncertainty.
