Development of intelligent control system for bearing phosphating process parameters based on artificial intelligence

The purpose of this paper is to develop and verify an intelligent control system of bearing phosphating process parameters based on artificial intelligence (AI), in order to solve the problems of uneven distribution and large depth difference (especially in the range of 20∼50 μm) of phosphating products caused by unstable parameter control in traditional phosphating process. These defects often lead to serious uneven shedding of bearing raceway at the initial stage of application, and may form bulges due to excessive local phosphating products. Such abnormal area also produce abnormal friction and wear on the rolling surface of rollers. To avoid such issue, an AI control system integrating data acquisition, intelligent control and execution is designed. The evaluation results show that the intelligent control system significantly improves the quality uniformity and stability of phosphating film, and improves the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and lubrication performance of bearings. Data analysis further confirmed the advantages of the system in precise control of phosphating film thickness and improvement of overall bearing performance.
