NAMING AND RENAMING OF MILITARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS BASED ON THE NAME «SUVOROV»

The article examines the use of the anthroponym «Suvorov» and its derivatives in naming and renaming. It is revealed that secondary synonyms are formed on the basis of the name «Suvorov», including the names of military educational institutions and other facilities. The term «ekpaidexonyms» is introduced, denoting the names of educational institutions at all levels. The names of military schools are military memorial names in honor of A. V. Suvorov. They belong to the group of ergonyms. A typical onomastic model for them is the name of the place of deployment of the educational institution + the Suvorov memorial + military school. We propose to consider militarism/non-militarism, as well as memoriality/non-memoriality, as typological features of an onym.The acronyms have an official business connotation and have abbreviated unofficial equivalents. The memorial information presented in the exhibits has national significance and is an important means of preserving the historical memory of the defenders of the Fatherland.
