Fabrication of Superinsulating Poly(Urethane‐Isocyanurate) Aerogels Derived from Upcycled Polycarbonate (Adv. Sustainable Syst. 10/2025)
Upcycled Polycarbonate The cover image illustrates the upcycling of BPA-based plastic waste into high-performance aerogels. Through a one-pot chemical process, waste is transformed into aromatic polyols, then into poly(urethane-isocyanurate) aerogels with exceptional insulation properties, strength, and porosity—showcasing a sustainable route to advanced materials from discarded plastics.
