Pd-catalysed flow Tsuji–Trost allylation of phenols: continuous-flow, extraction-free synthesis of esmolol via allylation, epoxidation, and aminolysis
A Tsuji–Trost allylation for phenols using a heterogeneous Pd catalyst and allyl methyl carbonate, eliminating the need for halide-based reagents and bases, is reported. Through the integrated continuous-flow process, esmolol can be synthesized.
