Mixed convection of non-Newtonian micropolar nanofluid in exponentially extendable absorptive surface by Darcy–Forchheimer model

The increasing demand for improved heat conduction in thermal science-based fluids, which enhances manufacturing performance and engineering applications, has generated significant interest. This study examines internal heat generation that affects the convective flow of a micropolar nanofluid via an exponentially stretched plate, considering the Brownian and thermophoretic diffusions. The semi-analytical spectral quasi-linearization methodology (SQLM) is used to solve sets of nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The SQLM technique is utilized iteratively to evaluate various parameter values, with all computations carried out in the MATLAB software environment for accuracy. This study is unique because it examines the interaction between micropolar nanofluids, Arrhenius activation energy, and heat from radiation on a plate that expands exponentially. This system is in a porous medium that adheres to the Darcy–Forchheimer concept. We have validated the findings and highlighted their significance by comparing them with current literature. The friction between layers of nanofluid decreases when the magnetic field strength and Forchheimer number increase, but it increases with higher micropolarity and permeability. The nanofluid’s heat transfer rates surge as the Prandtl numbers and thermal radiation parameter increase. In contrast, the Sherwood numbers reduce with greater activation energy and surge with larger Lewis numbers and a faster chemical reaction rate.
