A Study on the Implications of AI on Industry 4.0: Digitalization of Human Resources

Robotics innovation, which encompasses both AI and the Internet of Things (IoT), has created enormous prospects in the workplace by virtue of artificial intelligence (AI). Precision, efficiency, and flexibility are said to be some of Industry 4.0’s possible advantages. Industry 4.0 deployment calls for several adjustments, encompassing the Human Resources (HRs) department. The HR department’s skill is more crucial in Industry 4.0 and provides an advantage for the company. More caution and flexibility in the HR department’s capacity to respond to the necessities and challenges. We examine the role of AI in HR digitalization and Industry 4.0 practices. 258 HR professionals from the fields of administration, manufacturing, and information technology (IT) were chosen to take part in this review, which focused on three aspects of HR readiness and five AI applications in HR capability. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) tool and Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) were used to analyze the gathered data. The findings revealed that a key component of achieving sustainable development is the analysis of hierarchical organizations. The five components of AI application areas of HR all support human asset competence and adaptability. The enhancement of safety and well-being is considered an essential element of the AI use in HR.
