Prospective risk of sexual assault for sexual minority women: Findings from the longitudinal Chicago Health and Life Experiences of Women study.
These findings indicate that younger age, prior sexual victimization, hazardous drinking, and male sexual partnerships increase the subsequent odds of sexual assault among sexual minority women. The findings suggest opportunities for targeted interventions to prevent sexual violence in high-risk groups, as well as areas for future research.
