Results of a 2025 UK and Ireland survey on the use of minimal phototoxic dose testing before psoralen with ultraviolet A radiation phototherapy
We provide information on the practices and approaches used by phototherapy units across the UK and Ireland in determining starting doses for psoralen ultraviolet A therapy. The findings demonstrate a wide protocol variation. Further work on standardization may be necessary to comply with British Association of Dermatology guidelines.
