Awareness of Antibiotic Resistance Among Medical Professionals in Kerala, India: A Cross-Sectional Study
While overall awareness of antibiotic resistance among Kerala's healthcare professionals was good, substantial disparities exist, especially among nurses and those lacking formal AMR training. These findings underscore the urgent need for targeted educational programs, integrated stewardship curricula, and resource strengthening. Addressing these gaps is essential for successful AMR mitigation and for informing future policy and curricular reforms locally and in similar contexts globally.
