Barriers and bridges: qualitative insights into the implementation of evidence-based practice among occupational therapists
This qualitative study offered nuanced insights into OTs' experiences, attitudes, and emotional responses toward EBP implementation. OT's motivation and lived experience play central roles with EBP implementation, which was linked to emotions and perceived benefits beyond the clinical outcomes. Enhancing EBP implementation may require individual and organizational strategies. Addressing barriers, fostering motivation, and providing resources are crucial for successful EBP adoption in occupational therapy.
