Thermal Barrier Zirconia-Based Coatings
Abstract—Two engineering criteria, namely, Neff/(Qd) and NeffK/(VB), where Neff is the effective thermal capacity of plasma jet at the plasma generator outlet, Q is the plasma-forming gas flow rate, d is the sprayed powder particle size, K is a coefficient, V is the plasma generator travel speed, and B is the monolayer width, are used in order to systemize the results of investigations performed in the field of thermal barrier plasma zirconia-based coatings.
