TopoHub: New dataset of CAIDA AS-level layer 3 topologies
This article reports the evolution of TopoHub, an open repository of network topologies. The most notable addition in the latest version 1.5 is a new category of AS-level layer 3 topologies derived from the CAIDA Ark Internet Topology Data Kit (ITDK). We also improved the web interface with URL-addressable state (topology, viewbox, and demands), expanded the Gabriel graph dataset, and aligned the JSON schema to future versions of NetworkX by using the edges key. Internally, topology generators were modularized into the separate providers package, and GitHub CI was enabled to run ruff Python linter, leading to numerous code quality fixes.
