The potential role of miR-4706 during the development of the carotid artery stenosis through BMPR2

Our findings indicate that miR-4706 is up-regulated in the serum of CAS patients. Knocking down miR-4706 can promote ox-LDL-HAEC proliferation and suppress apoptosis. Functionally, miR-4706 exerted its regulatory effect by targeting BMPR2.

Abstract

Our findings indicate that miR-4706 is up-regulated in the serum of CAS patients. Knocking down miR-4706 can promote ox-LDL-HAEC proliferation and suppress apoptosis. Functionally, miR-4706 exerted its regulatory effect by targeting BMPR2.
