Spin state modulation and chiral hierarchical assembly via amine-driven single-crystal-to-single-crystal transformation
A mononuclear Fe( ii ) synthon featuring acid–base responsive imidazole and a terminal iodo group was used to construct achiral or chiral supramolecular frameworks with tunable topologies and spin-states via a rare amine-driven SC–SC transformation.
