Structural resilience in organic–inorganic stacked assemblies: sulfur-mediated self-compensating interaction and metal identity masking in group 10 dithiocarbamate cocrystals with tetracyanobenzene
The ligands’ environment masks electronic differences between Ni, Pd, and Pt via a sulfur-mediated self-compensating mechanism and results in identical supramolecular architectures for cocrystals of metal dithiocarbamates with tetracyanobenzene.
