Postgraduate GPs’ experience of attending medical uncertainty training during the standardised training of residents: a qualitative process evaluation
The process evaluation provided deeper insight into GPs' experiences with the MUT course. Rather than merely increasing tolerance for uncertainty, participants emphasized the development of practical competence in uncertain clinical scenarios. By integrating cognitive, emotional, and behavioral elements, the training enhanced their confidence and skills in managing complex cases. Future research should explore the generalizability and long-term impact of these outcomes across diverse clinical contexts.
