Tibial autovenous bypass with single-segment and spliced vein

Objective. To evaluate the early and delayed results of tibial autovenous bypass surgery for critical lower limb ischemia depending on conduit nature. Material and methods. A retrospective analysis of complications and delayed results included patients with critical lower limb ischemia who underwent tibial bypass surgery in 2017—2022. There were 130 cases. Two groups with similar characteristics were formed: group 1 (112 cases) — bypass with a single-segment conduit, group 2 (18 cases) — bypass with a spliced vein. There were no significant differences in the incidence of early postoperative complications or long-term results. Conclusion. Tibial bypass surgery with a spliced vein have early and delayed postoperative results similar to those for a single-segment conduit. This material is a high-quality alternative to a single-segment graft.
