Analysis of Influencing Factors in Jazz Drum Learning: A Grounded Theory and CRITIC Weighting Approach

This study constructs a multidimensional model for identifying and evaluating influencing factors in jazz drum learning by combining Grounded Theory with the CRITIC weighting method. Through semi-structured interviews, 12 core categories were extracted across three dimensions: learning motivation, skill acquisition, and external support. A questionnaire was developed to build an evaluation matrix representing four typical learning pathways. Applying the CRITIC method, standard deviation and correlation analyses yielded objective factor weights. Results show that digital platforms and tool assistance (0.1668), self-efficacy beliefs (0.1289), and peer interaction and community belonging (0.1269) are the most influential. These findings highlight the role of digital support and social identity in percussion learning. Methodologically, the study integrates qualitative theory building with quantitative weighting, while theoretically advancing a technology–cognition–environment tripartite framework and offering evidence-based insights for personalized music education.
