The catalytic activity of modified KIT-6@Fe3O4 decorated with Pd for the preparation of biaryls and aromatic amines
KIT-6 mesoporous and Fe 3 O 4 were used to create a novel hybrid (magnetic and mesoporous) solid material. Modifying the surface of Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @KIT-6 with ortho-phenylenediamine, followed by decoration with palladium, produced a novel magnetic mesoporous hybrid nanomaterial (Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @KIT-6@ o -PDA-Pd 0 ). Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @KIT-6@ o -PDA-Pd 0 was employed as a catalyst to produce biaryls and aromatic amines in a highly effective, heterogeneous, and recyclable manner. The characterization of this magnetic mesoporous material has been conducted using various analytical techniques, including FT-IR, SEM, AAS, XRD, TGA, VSM, and N 2 adsorption-desorption. • Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @KIT-6@ o -PDA-Pd 0 is introduced as a novel mesoporous magnetic catalyst. • Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @KIT-6@ o -PDA-Pd 0 characterized by FT-IR, SEM, AAS, XRD, TGA, VSM, and N 2 adsorption-desorption methods. • Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @KIT-6@ o -PDA-Pd 0 is composed of non-toxic materials, ensuring environmental friendliness. • An efficient catalytic method has been presented for the synthesis of biaryls and anilines.
