Analysis of toxicity and mechanisms of DEHP in ovarian cancer with network toxicology and molecular docking strategy
• We successfully identified 89 targets that are involved in DEHP-induced ovarian cancer. • According to the core targets, apoptosis and pathways in cancer. • It is evident that exposure to DEHP may play a role in ovarian cancer by specifically interacting with the BCL2, CASP3, MMP9, BCL2L, and CCND1 genes. • The findings not only provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying this process but also suggest potential therapeutic targets for mitigating the adverse effects of DEHP on ovarian health.
