Clinic-centered Self-sustainable Ecosystem for Practice-ready Medical Graduates
Abstract While the medical education in India and other low- and middle-income countries is rapidly evolving to keep pace with growing demands of skilled manpower, its being heavily institution-based and tertiary-hospital-centric is a cause for concern. Producing graduates with strong theoretical knowledge but limited readiness for independent clinical practice is more apparent now than before, which is in clear contradiction to the current healthcare global needs.
