Physicians’ knowledge of, and willingness to encourage caregivers to partake in the RTS S/AS01 and R21 matrix M malaria vaccines roll out – a national survey in Nigeria
This study shows that many physicians in Nigeria still lack knowledge about malaria vaccination. There is an urgent need for educational interventions to demystify physicians' concerns about the malaria vaccine such as its efficacy, safety, number of doses, affordability, and availability, to achieve a successful malaria vaccination implementation strategy.
