ULTRAWIDEBAND MULTIPORT ANTENNA DESIGN WITH ENHANCED BANDWIDTH FOR 5G COMMUNICATIONS
To support 5G applications, this study offers a slotted ultra-wideband (UWB) multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) antenna with micro-strip feeding. To lessen the isolation between the patches, the suggested slot-based structure is a rectangle built with additional L- and U-shaped slots in patches, together with defective ground structure (DGS). The primary goal of constructing a 2 × 2 MIMO antenna system is to maximize performance and increase bandwidth. The dielectric substrate (Rogers RO4003) used in the design of the suggested antenna configuration has a constant value of 3.55 and dimensions of 26 mm by 31 mm by 0.7874 mm. For 5G communication, the intended 2 × 2 MIMO antenna resonates at 7.5 GHz with a directed pattern. The antenna's performance parameters include bandwidth, current distribution, return loss, and (VSWR). Every parameter for this suggested UWB MIMO configuration is verified to be within a reasonable range.
