Clinical severity and parent–child discrepancies in paediatric atopic dermatitis across the USA
Nearly half of children aged 6–12 years in the USA with atopic dermatitis (AD) experience significantly impaired quality of life, as per the CDLQI, yet 42% of parents underestimate this impact. This nationally representative study highlights the importance of patient-centred tools and interventions targeting both dermatological symptoms and psychosocial factors.
