Research Progress on Coke Reaction Behavior, Structural Evolution, and Performance Changes Under Hydrogen‐Rich Low‐Carbon Smelting Conditions in Blast Furnaces
Rich hydrogen blast furnace (BF) ironmaking has become an important way to reduce carbon dioxide emissions during the ironmaking process. However, with the injection of a large amount of hydrogen‐rich gas, the volume fraction of H 2 in the gas increases, causing changes in the multiphase reaction mechanism and evolution behavior of coke in the BF. Therefore, it is crucial to study the reaction behavior of coke in hydrogen‐rich BFs and the influence of H 2 O on coke. This article systematically summarizes the reaction behavior of coke after hydrogen enrichment in BFs, deepening the understanding of the multiphase reaction law of coke in hydrogen‐enriched BFs. Subsequently, the influence of H 2 O on coke in hydrogen‐rich BFs is summarized in detail, mainly from coke structure and properties. Finally, this article also outlines potential future research work in hydrogen enrichment.
