Relativistic point-coupling model with derivative couplings
In this paper, we have extended the standard point-coupling relativistic mean-field model to include momentum-dependent nucleon self-energies. Our aim is to enhance the value of the effective (Landau) mass around the Fermi surface and thus improve the density of levels, while retaining the correct description of the spin-orbit splittings. We have constructed three effective interactions varying the values of the Landau effective mass. The resulting parametrizations are further tested in calculations of properties of Sn and Pb isotopic chains, including binding energies and charge radii.
