Serum magnesium levels in children and adolescents with migraine: A prospective observational study
Plain Language Summary This study looked at blood magnesium levels in children and adolescents who were newly diagnosed with migraine. We found that none of the participants had low serum magnesium, and most had levels within the normal range. These results suggest that routine blood magnesium testing may not be helpful in diagnosing or managing migraine in young people.
