Fenomen przestępczości hazardowej na przykładzie automatów do gier

This article aims to present issues related to the expansion of gambling crime on slot machines in our country. The publication presents basic information related to both the location of gambling in Polish legislation, actions taken by state authorities in the fight against this phenomenon, as well as statistical aspects. This publication aims to show the changes that have taken place in gambling crime over the years 2010-2023, in comparison with the amendment to the law regulating the functioning of the gambling market in Poland. The article also points to certain aspects that may be useful in combating gambling crime on slot machines. The latest, so far unpublished, statistical data of the Ministry of Finance in the field of combating gambling crime will also be presented
