Addendum to: Fully-heavy tetraquarks in the vacuum and in a hot environment
Abstract Very recently, the CMS Collaboration reported the first measurement of quantum numbers of the recently discovered family of fully-charmed tetraquark states. The parity P and charge conjugation C symmetries are found to be $$+1$$ + 1 . The more favorable spin J of these exotic states is $$J=2$$ J = 2 . In light of these new results, in this addendum we present an extension of our recent work [Eur. Phys. J. C 85, 783 (2025)] to include new predictions for the $$J^{PC} = 2^{++}$$ J PC = 2 + + S -wave tetraquarks, which were not part of our first analysis. Our results show a reasonable agreement with the new experimental data reported by CMS.
