Pemanfaatan Sampah Plastik melalui Ecobrick sebagai Upaya Penanggulangan Masalah Sampah di Sekolah Desa Tieng

Tieng Village is a village located in the Kejajar sub-district area which has abundant natural resources and human resource potential. This community service is motivated by the large number of residents living in Tieng Village affecting the level of consumption of the community and also students, resulting in plastic waste. Based on this, the KPM 47 Group 11 team of the University of Science Al-Qur'an Central Java wants to contribute to being able to reduce plastic waste by processing it into an appropriate and optimally utilized item that is applied to Tieng Village students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that is the main object, namely the researcher himself, therefore the author has a desire to increase the rate of reducing plastic waste. Data collection techniques carried out by researchers are observation, interviews, and documentation studies or commonly called Triangulation. Therefore, the author has a desire to increase the rate of reducing plastic waste. This effort uses a practical method of ecobricking that is made into a trash can. The results obtained are Ecobrick products that are environmentally friendly and can be used by students and the general public, and can reduce plastic waste in Tieng Village, especially at the school level. From the evaluation obtained, this Ecobrick trash can be utilized optimally and can be a solution for processing plastic waste as an effort to overcome waste in schools.
