Gesundheit endet nicht am Werkstor: Betriebliche Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung ganzheitlich gestalten

Health doesn’t end at the factory gate: Designing holistic occupational prevention and health promotion In times of skilled labor shortages, demographic change, and rising healthcare costs, workplace health promotion is becoming increasingly important. Simply complying with the requirements of the Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG) is no longer sufficient. The goal of modern occupational medicine is to contribute to maintaining the employability of an aging workforce, in addition to its role in workplace prevention and health promotion. To achieve this, occupational medicine must be understood as an integral part of the healthcare system and must be effectively networked with other medical disciplines and sectors of care.
