Array Rotation Optimization-Based Electromagnetic Tomography Technology
This paper addresses the issue of limited imaging quality in cable defect detection caused by insufficient independent measurement values in Electromagnetic Tomography (EMT) technology, proposing an optimized imaging scheme through rotating the sensor array. A simulation model of a 110 kV highvoltage cable is constructed, revealing that when the 8-coil array is rotated by 22.5 degrees, the imaging performance of three algorithms-Linear Back-Projection (LBP), Tikhonov regularization, and Landweber iteration-is significantly enhanced: defect localization errors are drastically reduced, and the imaging accuracy has been significantly improved. Simulation results demonstrate that this technology achieves dual optimization of anti-interference capability and positioning accuracy in complex electromagnetic environments by dynamically adjusting the detection perspective, providing a costeffective solution for the predictive maintenance of power equipment.
