Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Performance Analysis of Power Battery Systems in New Energy Vehicles: A Comparative Study of Load Simulation Configurations
As a critical subsystem in new energy vehicles (NEVs), the power battery system’s electromagnetic compatibility(EMC) characteristics have become a focal point in automotive electromagnetic safety research. In this paper, three different accessory devices, namely, pure resistive load, electronic load and excitation device, are used as loads to investigate the effects of four factors, namely, relative distance of high and low voltage wiring harnesses, height of receiving antenna from the ground, distance of receiving antenna from the center of reference, and the way of grounding, on the radiated emission. The results show that the relative distance between the high and low voltage harnesses has the greatest effect on the radiated emission when the three different attachments are used as loads.
