A two-stage community regulation strategy for the current peak-shaving market
Comprehensive demand response measures are implemented. This enhances the community’s energy adjustment capability. The community’s energy system can participate in the peak shaving market. Profits can be obtained this way. However, during community demand response, the load’s response and recovery stages have an influence. These stages need to be considered. Therefore, a regulation strategy is proposed in this paper. It considers both stages of community load response and recovery. Firstly, the process of community participation in peak shaving transactions was studied. Secondly, a load regulation model was established. It was based on the characteristics of different loads in the community. It considered the two stages of response and recovery. Finally, an optimization model for community peak shaving was developed. The goal was to maximize community profits. Stepped carbon trading costs were also considered. The results show the following: The two-stage regulation strategy can alleviate the impact of load rebound effects. This is possible with reasonable parameter settings. The rational allocation of various types of loads within the community is also promoted. Moreover, the introduction of stepped carbon trading costs can increase community profits. It can also promote energy conservation and emission reduction.
