A Numerical Study on Anti-explosion Performance of Oil-Immersed Bushing
When an arc fault occurs in an oil-immersed bushing, it may lead to transformer explosion and even secondary fires and explosions, seriously affecting the safe operation of the power system. To study and enhance the anti-explosion capability of oil-immersed bushings, this paper first introduces the arc fault test of the tooling sample designed based on the existing 110 kV bushings in operation. It presents the current and voltage settings of the test, as well as the damage situation, and conducts numerical analysis. Based on this test and simulation results, the antiexplosion strengthening design of the bushing structure is carried out, and its safety is verified through numerical simulation. The research results of this paper can be applied to the anti-explosion design and optimization of oil-immersed bushings, and can effectively reduce the consequences of arc faults.
