Research on Energy Management of Hydrogen Hybrid UAV
For a hydrogen-powered hybrid unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system composed of hydrogen fuel cells, lithium batteries, and supercapacitors, this paper proposes an energy management strategy (EMS) based on equivalent consumption minimization strategy (ECMS) to improve the UAV’s endurance performance. Considering that ECMS is difficult to maintain the SOC of batteries online, a PI controller is introduced to dynamically adjust the equivalent factor. A simulation platform is used to compare the proposed strategy with fuzzy logic control (FLC) to assess its effectiveness. The results indicate that the improved ECMS strategy demonstrates superior overall performance.
