Research on the Mechanism of Flexible Resource Response and Multi-Agent Collaboration in Regional Integrated Energy Systems

Addressing the challenge of coordinating flexible resources in regional integrated energy systems (RIES) involving multiple market participants, this paper proposes a collaborative decision-making method that integrates dynamic response mechanisms with multi-timescale optimisation. First, dynamic response models are established for flexible resources such as energy storage, demand response, and electric vehicle (EV) aggregators to quantify their regulatory potential and operational boundaries. Second, a multi-agent non-cooperative game mechanism based on the Nash equilibrium is designed, embedded within a multi-stage optimisation framework spanning ‘day-ahead-intraday-real-time’ phases to coordinate conflicting objectives. Finally, the method is validated using a case study of an industrial park in Shenyang. The results show that the proposed method improves the system’s control capability by $15.2 \%$, reduces the peak-to-valley difference rate by $\mathbf{1 8. 7 \%}$, and increases the renewable energy consumption rate to $\mathbf{9 2. 3 \%}$. It also provides a three-in-one solution of ‘response mechanism-cooperative mechanism-dispatch platform’ for RIES under high proportions of new energy access.
