Energy Storage Configuration Strategy for Wind Farm Black-Start Based on Feasibility Assessment
To address the challenges posed by wind power output uncertainty in the black-start scenarios involving wind farms, a feasibility assessment-based energy storage configuration method for wind farm black-start is proposed. First, based on the predicted wind power, the power supply adequacy rate and output efficiency rate are defined to construct a multi-dimensional blackstart feasibility assessment index. This index quantitatively analyzes the wind power output’s support capability for blackstart loads, thereby determining suitable black-start period. Then, a coordinated wind-storage output control strategy of “full compensation - limited absorption - appropriate wind curtailment” is formulated. An optimization model is established with the objective of minimizing energy storage configuration requirements, which is subsequently solved through optimization algorithm. Finally, a case study is conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed feasibility assessment and energy storage configuration method.
