Day-ahead Economic Dispatch of Multi-energy System Considering High Proportion of Renewable Energy
Based on a combined heat and power supply park system composed of wind turbines (WT), photovoltaic (PV), gas turbines (GT), combined heat and power (CHP) units, electric boilers (EB), and electrical/thermal loads, this study considers the impact of introducing energy storage devices and hydrogen energy on the day-ahead economic dispatch model of a multi-energy park. The research shows that the role of energy storage devices is to store thermal energy, natural gas, and hydrogen generated during low electricity price periods and release them during high electricity price periods to meet electrical and thermal load demands while saving costs. Electrolytic hydrogen equipment consumes electricity to produce hydrogen for sale or storage during low electricity price periods, and fuel cells generate power to supply electrical loads during high electricity price periods, significantly reducing park costs and enhancing the park’s economic efficiency and flexibility.
