A Voltage Coordination Control Strategy Considering Available Resources in the Substation
This paper proposes a voltage coordination control strategy based on available resources in the substation, aiming to improve voltage quality and reduce the risk of voltage violations in distribution networks. The method comprehensively utilizes discrete regulation resources such as On-Load Tap Changers (OLTCs) and Shunt Capacitor Banks (SCBs). By establishing an objective function and multiple operational constraints, the strategy minimizes the voltage violation rate across feeder nodes. Simulation on the IEEE-33 bus system demonstrates that the proposed approach effectively reduces voltage deviation and violation rate. Compared with single-device control methods, it significantly enhances voltage regulation performance and prolongs equipment service life.
